Description:
6 shot percussion revolver with 8 inch round barrel. Good bore with shine and visible rifling but does have some scattered light pits. Sharp barrel address. Good amounts of original blue in the protected areas with the balance turning a plum/brown. Steel back strap has good blue as well. Brass trigger guard has an untouched appearance and looks good. Traces of case color remain on the frame and hammer. Excellent cylinder scene. Several inspector marks as well a sharp cartouche on each side of the walnut grips. Action functions properly. All matching numbers except for an unmarked wedge. An early example that was made in 1862.
