This Winchester model 100 is a gas operated semi-automatic rifle chambered in .308 Winchester, introduced in 1960 and discontinued in 1973 with about 263,000 sold. The Pre-64 models had hand-cut checkering opposed to the post-64's pressed checkering. .308 Winchester
