Description:
This 1986 commemorative lever action rifle is a Winchester 94 Texas Sesquicentennial (1 of 150 edition) chambered in .38-55 Winchester. Many of this third edition of Texas Sesquicentennial commemorative rifles were made to go into a boxed set, that included a carbine and a Bowie knife. This particular rifle with serial number TSRM014 was not made as a boxed set. The first boxed set in this edition went to President Ronald Reagan and was serial numbered TSRM001. Left side of the barrel is marked in 2 lines with address and caliber markings. In the center of the left side of the barrel it is etched in gold "1836 - Texas - 1986." Right side of the barrel is etched in gold "Sesquicentennial." The frame is blued with gold etchings of famous Texas scenes. Blue barrel and magazine tube. Blue lever with gold etching of stage coach and rose on adverse side. Fancy checkered buttstock and forearm. It is in as new unfired condition. .38-55 Winchester
