Description:
Winchester Model 43 in .22 Hornet. These centerfire bolt action rifles were produced between May 1948 through December 1953. It has a fixed ramp front sight and a 4X Redfield Bear Cub Scope. The Walnut stock has a checkered metal butt plate. The .22 Hornet is considerably more powerful than the rimfire .22 WMR and the .17 HMR, achieving higher velocity with a bullet twice the weight of the .17 HMR bullet. The Hornet is a centerfire cartridge and thus reloadable. .22 Hornet
