Description:
This lever action rifle is a Winchester Model 71 chambered in .348 WCF. It has a dovetail blade with gold bead front sight, a standard open leaf adjustable ramp rear sight, a sleek looking curved lever, a pistol grip stock, a wide forend, and a tapered round 24 inch barrel. The butt plate is checkered steel and there are sling loops top and bottom. The finish appears to be original with significant bluing loss to the front underside of the receiver and likewise at the muzzle. The original high gloss finish to the walnut fore end and stock is mostly intact and there are numerous minor handling marks observable. .348 Winchester
