Description:
Smith & Wesson Stainless M&P Airweight Pre Model 12 38 special. A very nice rare nickel finish S&W with a rare small locking screw on the side plate screw. Just a few locking screws were added in 1954. This revolver has the original aluminium cylinder with matching numbers to the gun making it highly collectable. Grips are not original. Very nice nickel finish with the only flaking is on the cylinder release. With letter stating gun was shipped October 1953. THIS REVOLVER IS EQUIPED WITH THE ORIGINAL ALUMINIUM CYCLINDER AND SHOULD NOT BE FIRED AS THE LETTER INDICATES. Sold as a collectors revolver.
