New items added daily! Description: This is an all matching and original example of a very rare Walther P.38 variation from 1945, one of only 1,800 produced. We've seen these referred to as zero series or zero-prefix Walther P.38s, but Krutzek's P.38 book states this is the last Mod. HP variation. It features two inspection marks on the right side of the slide as it used 'ac 45' slides but serializing continued from where Mod. HP production ended. The zero was added to distinguish from the commercial production that preceded it. It has retained about 95% of its original finish. There is minor wear on the high edges of the slide and light scratching here and there. While there isn't much actual finish loss, there are areas of significant pitting throughout. Comes with nice grips and a period-correct jvd magazine. Overall, the bore is shiny with strong rifling, but there is a very small area of pitting near the muzzle. De-cocker is functional. SOLD Handgun Caliber: 9x19mm Parabellum (9mm Luger, 9x19mm NATO) Bore: 8/10 Condition: ~95% |
