This is a very rare 1936 Mauser Banner Luger that was part of a small contract order by Thailand's government. It was reported only 150 were ordered, and roughly 35 now remain. These saw extensive use and the finish was presumably arsenal re-done in Thailand. It has all matching numbers, including the original magazine and left grip panel, though the right grip panel is mismatched. Strong, shiny bore. The finish shows some visible patina on the grip straps, sideplate and left side frame. Some bluing loss on barrel and right side rail. Smoothing of the checkering on the grips but no cracks or chips. Import mark on trigger guard.
