Final Reduction to help with shipping. Up for sale is a beautiful Springfield Armory 1884 Trapdoor Ram Rod Bayonet rifle in 45/70 (black powder cartridge). Wood and metal are in really great shape and has lots of figure for a Military arm. Metal has a nice patina but some nice blueing is still there (see pics). Some original case colors are present as well (see pics). Rifle was made and Armory inspected in 1890 (see stock stamps and proof markings). SN: is 500857. Gun is an antiques as it was made in 1890 and can ship to residents of legal age. Know you local state laws on age, etc. I accept US Postal Money Orders. Buyer pays shipping and insurance.
