This is an excellent example of a Smith & Wesson K-38 revolver, manufactured in 1950 and chambered in .38 Special. It is a matching and comes with period correct box (not matching to the gun) and original cleaning kit. The gun has retained about 96% of its original bluing. Most of the finish loss is along the left side of the barrel, but there is also some minor muzzle wear, minor wear on the underside of the trigger guard, and a light roll mark on the cylinder. Very nice case-hardening on the trigger and hammer. The cylinder is tight, and the action is very smooth. Comes with excellent period-correct wood grips - some tiny dings on the bottom edges. Mint bore.
