New items added daily! Description: This is a very nice example of a Mauser Model 1914 issued to the Prussian State Police force in the 1920's. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Crown U" proofs. There is a "P.P.K. 254" unit marking on the right side of the frame - from research, this stands for Polizei Prasisium Koln or Police Headquarters of Cologne. There is an additional unit marking on the front strap that reads " S. Sta. I. R. 15." - this stands for the Prussian State Police of the Stade district. The gun has retained about 93% of its original finish. The majority of the wear is around the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. There is light spotty wear and light patina on the front strap. Comes with a slightly worn period-correct wood grip (tiny chip in the top corner of the right side) and a police arsenal-numbered magazine that does not match the gun. The bore has decent rifling, but there is frosting throughout. SOLD Handgun Caliber: .32 ACP (7.65x17mm Browning SR) Bore: 7/10 Condition: ~93% |
