This is an ultra rare Smith & wesson no. 3 Russian sent and made for the Japanese Imperial army I mean these are one of the 1st modern firearms that the Japanese Imperial army received in the Latter part of the 1800s It is Imperial Japanese marked and has the original Japanese manufactured holster as these guns were not supplied from it's not supplied from Smith and Weston with holsters It was taken off the body of a High ranking Japanese soldier during the battle of Guam I knew the soldier who took it home and can supply the buyer with his name and other information It is in beautiful condition it is tight works perfectly and it's all original And still retains 90% of its blue That is original Not to mention the beautiful original Japanese military made holster I know it sounds crazy a ww2 japanese officer carrying it in ww2 but i knew the marine who got it he took some other things off him i have also. All i can think is the pistol must have beloned to his father or grandfather who must have been an officer in the late 1800's when japan went from a samurai army to a modern army maybe the original owner could have been samurai. It is not far fetched or out of the question. And you NEVER SEE the originalJapanese holster . . I take all kinds of gun trades and any interesting trades that are not guns give me a call
