Description:
Cased Short Range Sharps Borchardt 40/50 SS with an excellent bore. Correct original hooded front pin sight and short range tang. The wood is very good with a few storage dings. The metal has some areas of very shallow pitting and the blueing is thin in places. Included are 171 cases, a period Winchester for Sharps cartridge box with the wooden "step" and 20 ballon head cases, and a repro of the 1879 Sharps catelogue. The catelogue actually tells you the settings on the tang sight in hundred yard increments for 100 thru 600 yards, I had never noticed that before.
