Description:
Serial #4466A5, .22-250, 22 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Medallion model High-Power rifle manufactured by the Browning Arms Company in Belgium circa 1965 featuring select figured walnut with skipline checkering, rosewod grip and forearm caps, scroll engraved receiver / barrel and ram's head engraving on the floorplate. The rifle is in excellent condition retaining virtually all, 97-98% blue/black lustre bluing finish on the barrel and action with very mild handling and use marks. The gold accent in the floorplate ram engraving has slightly worn as has the gold plated trigger. The bolt handle shows very mild carbon staining. The stock is excellent showing only very light surface scratches, contusions and use marks. The gun is equipped with Buehler scope mounts and is sighted with a Redfield Bear Cub scope with clear optics and cross-hair reticle. A beautifully engraved, non-salt wood rifle in a scarce caliber and beautiful wood. FFL or C&R
