Description:
Serial #B25690, .38 Special, 2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1971-made revolver that has retained virtually all of the original blue finish, and has only a very mild turn-ring attesting to any use. The only other finish loss occurs on the ejector rod, and some traces of freckling on the sides of the hammer. The checkered walnut Colt medallion grips are in excellent shape with almost no flattening of the points on either panel. The revolver is housed in the original, numbered Colt two-piece woodgrain box without papers, and is a simply excellent example of a desirable 2nd Issue Detective Special overall. FFL or C&R
