This is a custom production AR15 rifle from a private collection.
This AR15 Rifle was custom made by STI International in Georgetown Texas for a special contract order from a Russian Distributor for 3-Gun Competition rifles. The few people lucky enough to have one of these guns have nicknamed them "The Russian AR". After the first 50 guns were made, STI was informed by the US Government that they were not going to be allowed to ship the guns to Russia so the production was discontinued. This rifle is one of only 50 that were produced by STI.
The rifle is chambered for the .223 cartridge and includes one 40 round magazine that was specified by the Russian order. Thr rifle has a 17" barrel with a 2" custom compensator for a total barrel length of 19". The barrel is chrome lined and made of stainless steel. LOP for the rifle is 13-1/2". This rifle has not been fired or even loaded since leaving the factory.
