Description:
Marked on the backstrap is "Credere-Obbedire-Combattere/ .2-Ott .935 XIII" which translates "Believe, Obey and Fight" and dated 2 October 1935. This gun is in beautiful condition with nearly all of the gold finish remaining with some high point wear. Pistol is very delicately engraved and has the chocolate brown hard rubber grips. First year production model with 3-1/4 inch barrel in caliber 7.65mm. Very interesting pistol with correct issued leather holster. It is hard to come by these pre-War Barettas and especially one with a special inscription!
