Description:
This Colt is a 1st generation single action revolver manufactured in 1928 and chambered in .44 Russian and S&W SPL (late smokeless). The blued 4-3/4" barrel has a shiny bore with good rifling, "COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG Co." - "HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." is stamped on the top, and "RUSSIAN AND" - "S&W SPECIAL" - ".44" is stamped on the left side. Patent dates are stamped on the left side of the color case hardened action with the circled Rampant Colt logo beside. The action is tight and locks up firmly. Very nice Colt checkered wood grips with inset Rampant Colt medallions (correct and original as shipped from Colt). Details of this original historical revolver are supported by the included Colt Office of the Colt Historian Letter dated March 1, 2022. We will accept C&R for this revolver. This will be a GREAT revolver for your collection!
