Description:
This is a standard late production WWII German Army P.08 Luger as produced by the Mauser factory in 1942. This series of luger has the all blued finish with checkered walnut grips. The top of the chamber area is stamped "42" for the year of manufacture and the front toggle is stamped with "byf" the wartime code for the Mauser factory. The right side of the barrel extension has the double "eagle/135" Waffenamt proofs along with a single eagle firing proof, with the same proof on the right side of the barrel. The safety and extractor is correctly marked "GESICHERT". 9mm Luger
