Description:
This Remington Rolling Block rifle chambered in .43 Spanish has a 35” round barrel with a decent bore. The rifling is still sharp, but there is some light pitting near the breech. The outside of the barrel is in good condition with the exception of some light scratches and pitting. The barrel has a fixed front sight and a military rear sight that is missing the ladder. Three barrel bands stamped with a “U” hold the stock to the barrel. The receiver is also in good condition with heavily worn finish. The hammer and breech block are in similar condition and have light pitting. Remington’s patent information is engraved on the tang. The Walnut forend is in fair shape. There are gouges on the right and left sides and chips along the edges of the cleaning rod channel. Does not have a ramrod. The Walnut buttstock with the crescent buttplate and sling swivel is in better shape, having only a few dents. Overall wood to metal fit is good. The length of pull is 13”, the overall length is 50-1/4”, and the weight is 8.6 Lbs. Please Note: This rifle is being sold AS-IS. Our stock number is #A633.
