Description:
This is an early International Harvester M1 Garand. Some of the early receivers were manufactured by Springfield and provided to International Harvester. They can be identified by the heel markings placed in what is referred to as the "gap letter" configuration. International Harvesters are somewhat rare and the fact that this is a somewhat rare variation makes this a very desirable piece. This one appears to be correct with the exception of the stock which is USGI but does not appear to be IHC as there are no numbers in the barrel channel. It is in very nice condition. MW 1.5. TE 2.5.
