Description:
The good news, this 6.5lb A&D steel-barreled gun is all original with a rare tang safety, surprisingly tight, and is no 2 of a pair (in gold inlay). Sound but worn wood, 14 3/4" thru original horn plate, 1 1/2 and 2 1/4" drops with moderate cast off. However, it's gray with extensive fine pitting on the external metal surfaces, and while the bores are shiny and in proof, R min 25 732/725 sk L 735/693 F min 30, there is deep scattered pitting toward the muzzles. Probably still safe to shoot , NP for 2 1/2" ctgs. 1 1/4 oz. A restoration candidate in my mind.
