Here's a pretty nice 1873 made in 1899 so a C&R or ffl will be necessary for me to ship. Bore is excellent. Good bluing though turning in places. No rust or pitting. The sights, at least the front one, are not original. Stock is very good except that the forend has some roughness along the bottom (pictured). No sanding or repairs. Could this have occurred carrying the rifle over the saddle pommel? A few marks and dings but a very nice 123 yearold rifle from another era. And in the favorite combination- .44-40 with an octagon barrel. Shipping and insurance included in the price via priority mail. NO TEXTS
