Colt – Gen 3 Target Model 1861 – .50 cal. - Stk #C303
This 50 caliber Colt 1861 3rd gen 1861 two band target model has a 30” blued tapered round barrel with 1:28” twist that is in excellent condition. The front sight is fixed blade with an adjustable rear peep sight. The bore is in excellent condition. The bluing is in excellent condition. The Walnut stock is in excellent condition and is mounted with a blued steel butt plate, ram rod, and two sling swivels. The large military style percussion lock with 1861 and US Colt’s PTF A Mfg Co, Hartford, CT stamped on the plate is activated by a single trigger. Length of pull is 13-1/4”, overall length is 47”, and weight is 8.6 lbs. Our stock number is #C303.
