Here's a Near Mint S&W No. 1 revolver in 22 caliber with original GUTTA PERCHA Case. With original 22 ammo and tool ! Serial number 18,637. Manufactured from 1860 to 1868 . Factory "2D Quality " gun has a blued barrel and a Siver Finish frame. Grips are Mahogany Wood grips. Gun has virtually all its original factory finish flaking a bit on hinge area. Factory Luster Blue is solid and bright. Gun has all its original solid Silver finish still remaining on back half of gun . Wood grips are mint and 100 percent factory original! This is a stunning example of a Early period S&W 22 revolver with a super rare case! Case has been professionally repaired on bottom half only and done very well . Overall case is in excellent plus condition! Original ammo still in place and original cleaning rod is with case . Great piece of American History ! The condition is fantastic .
