Description:
Very fine Parker VHE 28ga made on a "00" Frame gun. Made with 26" Vulcan Steel barrels, splinter forend, double triggers, auto ejectors, capped pistol grip stock with dogs head buttplate. Gun comes with PGCA Research letter which is available upon request.
Gun remains in excellent overall condition. Barrels retain more than 95% original barrel blue with a few areas of thinning from shooting and handling. Action retains more than 35% original case color and is just toned from handling, not worn from any substantial usage. Trigger guard retains about 1/2 of its original blue. Stocks are sound, original and retain most all of their original finish with only minor handling marks. Buttplate has the proper spur for a gun of this vintage. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are crisp. Ejectors are strong and the gun is overall quite tight and nice.
This scarce Parker is just exactly how we like to find them and comes to me from a major old time collection here in the Southeastern U.S. The gun is hell on quail and shoots and handles like a dream come true.
