Description:
.45-90 caliber, 26" full octagon & full magazine with standard factory sights. Casehardened receiver, lever, hammer, nose cap, and buttplate. Plain, uncheckered forend and pistol grip buttstock that ends with crescent buttplate. Lyman folding tang sight. In superb original condition retaining nearly all of the barrel and magazine blue. The receiver showing virtually all of the case colors with the original lacquer coating remaining on most of the surfaces. Lever, hammer, and forend cap much the same. The buttplate has faded somewhat. Mint bore. The barrel is marked "SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL" Serial range 151xxx for 1897.
