Very Nice FRONTIER SIX-SHOOTER
Here we present a Colt Bisley Model Single Action Army Revolver chambered in .44-40 Winchester Center Fire, manufactured in Hartford, Connecticut in 1907. This is an example of the Bisley variant of the Colt Single Action Army revolver. The primary differences were a lower hammer spur and a more curvaceous grip frame. These were optimized toward target shooting but many general users and shooters who were not simply target shooters preferred their unique ergonomics as well.
The overall condition is fine. Excellent action. The bore is in nice condition with strong rifling. Numbers match. Both rampant Colt trademarked hard rubber grips are firmly seated and contain less than average wear.
