Brass barrel English trade pistol, circa 1790s This is an original  British trade pistol made for trade with the native American indians and sale to colonialists During the Revolutionary War period.. the lock is marked T.Ketland &co.
It has a brass barrel marked LONDON  on top with an engraved fish,  British proof marks.. the Butt cap, trigger guard. finials, and grip escuetchen are all brass
The pistol is in fine condition with the metal clean of corrosion, no dents,dings etc the wood is alsofine with no cracks, dents chips, repairs or losse
