Description:
For sale is a Colt 1911 dated 1918. This firearm is marked "United States Property" Model of 1911 US Army. The Colt letter confirms the legitimacy of this gun and being shipped to Brooklyn NY, for American Expeditionary Forces on June 12th 1918. While there is some excessive wear and some pitting to the slide and frame, The gun is correct and functions wonderfully. The slide is still properly snug to the frame. Wood grips are fully intact with no cracks. Research seems to prove that all of the markings are correct. None
