SOLD NO LONGER AVALABLE. We have in on consignment a Colt Python in 357 mag, and wearing a 6" barrel. This gun was made in 1972 and probably ordered through the Armed Forces When stationed in Germany. There are German proof Acceptance marks as shown. a very discreet inport mark on the flat of the crane, not visible unless the cylinder is opened. Frame bluing rates a solid 98% or better, Now for the distraction: The side plate screw was not fully seated, and cylinder was turned,leaving a line that went through the bluing , only on the rounded part of the cylinder. just the blue. upon further inspection, there are a few minute fingernail chatters. owner attempted to cover with some bluing, to make less noticeable. The cylinder can be re blued but we will leave that up to the new owner. or leave as is and enjoy shooting a hand fit gun. THIS IS A STEAL. If you want QUALITY of 50 yrs ago, NOT the JUNK made today, HERE IT IS ! Second set of pics, show gun with a MINT pair of FACTORY grip, which are correct for gun. Get it while you can.
