22 inch round barrel with 3 groove rifling chambered in 50-70 caliber. Bright excellent bore. Original sights. Gun is in extraordinary condition with most finish remaining. Vibrant case colors on the frame and buttplate as well as the carbine band. Wood is in very good condition with 2 sharp cartouches on the stock . Correct saddle ring and sling. Appears to be unissued since its arsenal refurbishment. Nice action. Very good inside and out. Tough to improve upon.
