SOLD***Please read the entire ad before responding. For sale here is a 1968 (2nd yr) BAR GRII full Belgium in 30/06. The rifle is in remarkable condition for it's age and functions great. Metal grades at 99% and wood 97% with only small scattered hunting dings. The wood has a carmel color and strong fiddleback is present on both sides of the buttstock. The only thing that prevents this gun from being a "collector" grade is that at one time in the distant past a previous owner used a side mount for a scope. The mount is now gone and the new scope mounts utilize the original factory holes. The holes drilled for the side mount have been filled with filler screws and are barely noticeable, if you're not looking for them (left side of the receiver). Due to this, I'm being up front about the flaws(?) and have figured that taking $200-$300 off what it would be worth (minimum) off my list price is very fair. The holes/screws have zero effect on function or overall look; nonetheless they are present. I've owned and hunted this rifle for at least 20yrs and I bought it as a shooter & hunter and am selling it as such to the next lucky owner. The period Lyman 2-7x32 scope is crytal clear and remains with the rifle at the listed price of $995. Price is firm and fair. Shipping & ins to lower 48 with be $45.
