Designed to deliver accuracy, this rifle features a free-floated, button-rifled, contoured, 416R stainless steel barrel with threaded muzzle and a stainless steel seamless radial brake for improved control and superior reliability at distance. The steel receiver offers superior durability and is compatible with standard Remington® 700 optics bases for maximum versatility. An enlarged ejection port virtually eliminates ejection failures. A nitride-treated, twin-lug, spiral-fluted bolt boasts a skeletonized bolt handle, and comes equipped with an M16-style extractor and dual ejectors (magnum calibers) for superior reliability and enhanced durability. Lightweight, carbon-fiber-composite sporter stock comes equipped with stainless steel pillars and spot bedding for reduced weight, without sacrificing strength. Recoil pad reduces felt recoil for enhanced control and reduced fatigue. Christensen Arms Mesa bolt-action rifle has a hinged floor plate and 3 round capacity internal magazine.
