Model 1889 Marlin in .38-40 WCF. Merchanically excellent with a very smooth and tight action along with a near perfect bore.
This rifle has been shot some, but not very much. It feeds and ejects nicely. All of the metal is smooth with no signs of rust or damage other that the normal carry wear. The stock is original with no sign of work. Original steel crescent buttplate. It has the correct lettering on the barrel and receiver. There is a Lyman tang sight along with the original buckhorn rear and a silver blade front. Full magazine, 28" octagon barrel. This was built in 1895 so no FFL required. This fine antique will make a great addition to your collection and it not only shows nice, it is a nice working rifle as well.
