Here is a nice Winchester single shot, all original, from back in the golden days of Winchester. This rifle functions as it should with a good bore. Wood is in very nice condition though a long ago owner was so proud of his rifle he put his intials in the butt-stock. It isn't all that noticeable but it's there. Fore-end has the traditional ebony insert. Metal is smooth, no rust or pitting. Lots of blue but now turned dark after 130 years. Rifle was made in 1891. Should you choose to shoot this rifle stick to lead bullets as the steel back then wasn't made for shooting copper jackets and have a gunsmith put his blessing on it as well. Cowboy loads would be the thing and this is also an easy caliber to reload. As this is an antique, it ships to your door in most states for $60 via priority mail including insurance.
