Description:
This Winchester Model 1892 was manufactured in 1916 and remains in good overall condition. Wood is solid and has been carved with checkering on forend and butt, and oak leaf designs on both sides of stock by unknown artist. Forend has some freckling on both sides like it has been next to a heat source. Blue is very good but does show some light oxidation in places. Front sight appears to have been replaced, and rear sight elevator is missing. Full length magazine tube. Receiver and lever show no case color or blue and have patinaed with oxidation. Receiver has been drilled long ago for a side mount scope and ring is missing from saddle ring. Function appears good. No box. .25-20 WCF
