Outstanding untouched and undrilled Pre War standard rifle in very scarce 22 Hornet caliber. This rifle remains in remarkably high condition considering its 80 years of circulation! S/N 44*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1942. 97%+ Blue and Varnish with only scattered light handling marks and a small chip at toe.. The 24" barrel has an excellent bore and the mechanical fuction is smooth and proper in all regards. I have personally verified that the chamber remains a true 22 Hornet and has never been reamed out to K hornet or any other such travesty. Correct H stamped floor plate. An excellent and highly collectible rifle.
