Here's the best designed rifle ever, in my opinion. It gets that label for two reasons. It operates perfectly and is the best looking 22 rifle
ever built !! This is the takedown version, making for very easy maintenance. She was built in 1952. Doesn't look 70.
The previous owner knew how to care for a gun .This gun is clean inside and out, shows only the slightest sign of usage. The bore is excellent,
No wood cracks, splits ,et. . Same for the metal. She has a few handling marks on the wood . Nothing into the wood ,just slight marks in the finish.
I've squirrel hunted many times with a model 62 exactly like this one. If I could walk the woods now, I would be carrying this gun!!!
It really has some good looking wood and the bluing is great. This little honey is good for another hundred and seventy years of making some lucky hunter very happy.
