SOLD This Winchester was produced in 1906. The rifle's serial number is 271671. This rifle is a second model with the half factory nickel finish. It is chambered for the 22 Short. The magazine loading slot has the cut out for the speed loader that was used by gallery guns. The bore is in very fine condition. The sights are the standard style sights for this model. The action works tight with no sloppyness. The barrel retains all of the original aged bluing. The bluing would rate a 98% overall condition. The original reciever and bolt plating would rate a 97% overall condition. The buttplate plating would rate a 89% overall condition. The stock and pump handle have no cracks or damage. The wood retains all of the original finish. This is a very fine condition stunning looking Model 1890! This factory half nickel finish gallery rifle is quite rare. Not many of these guns were ordered in this finish. Being a gallery gun also, is a nice plus for this rifle! The condition of this rifle is really amazing considering the hard use these gallery guns were subjected to. This is certainly a high value collectors grade Winchester for the serious collector!
