Description:
Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 in the hard to find .257 Roberts. This rifle is all original manufactured in 1954. Bore and rifling are sharp and crisp, stock has handling marks that are as visible in the pics as I can get them (they are very minor). Checkering and bluing are in excellent condition (Sorry, not an expert at the grading scale) as can be viewed in the pics with some fading blue at the front of the floorplate from carrying. Functions and shoots perfectly with no issues whatsoever. Matching bolt, original sight hood, original rear sight - this rifle has not been altered in any way. This rifle has been used very little considering it's age and has been kept in a safe over most of it's life. The muzzle is in undamaged condition visible in the pic.
