Perazzi MX9 trap combo. 12 gauge with 34” top single and 31 ½” O/U factory fitted/original barrels. Fixed choke with the 34” single having a .726” bore diameter and .045” (XF) choke constriction. The O/U barrels also have .726” bores with .035” (Full) on the bottom and .045” (XF) on the top. The MX9 has an interchangeable mid bead on both sets of barrels to adjust the point of impact. In addition to the mid-bead inserts in the ribs there are 5 more and a wrench in the case. The vent ribs taper from 7/16” to ¼” at the muzzle. The bores are untouched and mirror bright.
The MX9 action has a removable selective trigger group with leaf springs. Extra firing pins and springs are in the case.
Also, part of what makes the MX9 unique is the adjustable comb system which is adjusted with Allen bolts in the comb and through the bottom of the stock. The stock has a 14 ½” LOP over the original Perazzi recoil pad.
The gun and factory barrels were made in 1992 and although it is 30 years old it certainly appears to have spent most of its time in the case. There is just a little bottom edge wear otherwise the blue finish is 98%+. The wood finish is also near mint. The gun functions perfectly.
