We offer you a “Pre-War” Winchester Model 75 Sporter – Sporting .22 Bolt Action Rifle Made In 1941 C&R OK AMN.
This Winchester model 75 Sporter rifle wears the serial number 28093 which makes the year of manufacture 1941. Which makes our 81 year old rifle C&R eligible. The left of the receiver is marked "WINCHESTER / -TRADE MARK-" and with a "WP" in an oval proof. The proof is found again on the left of the barrel which is also marked "MADE IN U.S.A. WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. / NEW HAVEN, CONN-PATENT PENDING-", "-MODEL 75- / -22 LONG RIFLE-" and "-WINCHESTER- / -TRADE MARK-". The right of the receiver and the bottom of the bolt are marked with the matching serial number. The bottom metal is marked "SPORTING". The grip cap is marked "WINCHESTER REPEATING / ARMS CO.”. There was no magazine found for the rifle but are readily available.
The 24 inch barrel has an excellent bore with no issues. The bluing on the barrel and receiver shows marks and wear as shown. The bottom metal is mostly silver in color. The original stock finish shows several marks and dings from use as you can see, but is solid with no chips, cracks or repairs. A Redfield receiver sight was installed on the rifle as you can see. At some point in the past the rifle was drilled and tapped for an old school target scope of some type. The rifle was tested and functions just fine with no issues.
This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $50. This rifle will be shipped in a double walled foam lined cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe.
