Griffin & Howe 222 Remington built on a 1922 Springfield Action
This is a rarely seen caliber in a vintage G&H built rifle. Rifle is in Excellent condition throughout. Super accurate (Puts 'em all in one hole) and very pleasant to shoot. G&H made up a handful of 22 Hornet and K Hornet rifles, along with a couple of 2 R Lovell rifles on 1922 actions in the early 1930's. This rifle was obviously one of that group at one time. Since then it has gone back to G&H for re-chambering to 222 Remington. Griffin's retained as much of the Pre-War character as they could while doing the conversion. We are the richer for that. Now we have a rifle with the look and feel of a PreWar with the performance of a terrific modern caliber.
