Description:
A rare Smth & Wesson .45 Hand Ejector Commercial Model. With very nice checked Magna stocks with matching numbers on the stocks. With letter and copy of original bill of sale. Has S&W logo on side plate as do post war commercial models. With butt swivel. Letter states the hammer block was added at serial # S210321. This revolver has the hammer block but no S. The Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson 4th edition indicates that some have been found with the S. The revolver has a beautiful finish with some barrel wear and a rub mark on the side plate with very few handling marks and no scratches. Fewer then a 1000 were made of this model. Appears to be un fired but I am no expert. Shipped June 26, 1946.
