A factory letter accompanies this one-of-a-kind Pre Model 38 AKA Airweight Bodyguard confirming the rare presentation configuration and detailing its original shipment on May 29, 1958 directly to US House of Representatives Cecil Rhodes King! The gun is factory inscribed CECIL R KING and is equipped with a 2” barrel, special deluxe smooth walnut grips and original blue and anodized finish. The gun is complete in the box with the vapor paper, unused tool kit and warranty card. Cecil King had a fascinating life in politics and business serving for over 29 years in government. The gun is 100% NEW and complete in the box and is one of a small handful of Pre Model 38’s built, and is only such known factory inscribed to a Congressman. Overall a top shelf investment grade J-Frame that is one-of-a-kind!
