Description:
This Winchester Model 70 was manufactured in 1951 and was modified to a custom stock later by an unknown artist. Stock is solid and shows light wear and use marks for a gun this age. Stippling pattern has been carved into custom design. Barrel blue is very good. Bore is lightly frosted with rifling still visible. Floor-plate and trigger-guard are worn and show light scratches. Blue is worn from butt plate and there is some rust visible. This is a "Controlled Round Feed" gun. Period Redfield 2X-7X scope is mounted in see-thru scope mount / Kwik-Site rings. Classic! .30-06 Springfield
