Description:
Stephen Grant s/n 2768. Very good condition , 30" Damascus barrels - re browned, gun was re-jointed and re London prooved 2 1/2 in 2007. New pins fitted where needed, some parts re-blacked and a light wood re-finish and stored ever since then. Barrels 30" measure 0.24 & 0.24 walls, cylinder & cylinder - gun was made before chokes. Purdey thumb lever. Stock measurements - bend 1 3/8 x 2 1/16, LOP 14 1/2, Slight right hand cast. Last gun made by Grant in 1869, see "British guns" Nigel Brown volume 1 page 109
