About Us: I am a retiree with a collection of nice firearms accumulated over a period of 15-20 years. Increasingly, I am aware that I can't take them with me, so have decided to sell them over the coming months. My description of each weapon will be as accurate as I can make it, and I will attempt to show any defects in photos. I will not sell a firearm that is functionally defective in any way. If you have questions, I look forward to your call or email.

Description:
...S O L D !...The German contract Mausers made between the wars were arguably the finest production rifles ever made. In fact, Deutshe Munitions put more into the fit and finish of their contract Mousers than they did for their own military. The 1909 Argentine is one example of the superior workmanship the Gemans put into their contract Mausers. The mauser listed here is in excellent condition. The bore is shiny bright with strong rifling. The serial number of this rifle is 7310 and is matching throughout except for the cleaning rod which is 7303. Only 7 digits off !  Hard to beleive. The stocks of many of these old rifles have been sanded and refinished. This rifle's stock has never been sanded or refinished. It is all original and unmolested. There is an import mark located on the underside of the barrel that is so small it cannot be photographed. It is so small, a magnifying glass is required to read it.(I am unable to read it even with a magnifying glass!). The photos show other bumps and lumps.  Buyer pays $50.00 insured postage within the lower 48. If postage turns out to be more than $50.00, I will pay the difference. If less, I will refund the difference. FFL is required.
