This Sweet Sixteen was manufactured prior to 1949 when Browning started to put Sweet Sixteen on the left side of the receiver. This 16 gauge has a berrel with a chamber 2 9/16" that has been opened to take 2 3/4" modern ammo.The gun has the safty in the trigerguard. as all manufactured befor wwII. You rarley find a Browning Sweet Sixteen in this condition 98 - 99%.
